Bored of your username? Want to come up with something a bit more fancy? Consider setting a nickname! When you use a nickname, it shows up in each chat message. This is a donor-only feature, and different ranks have access to different types of nicknames.
Have a great nickname idea in mind? Use /nickname request [nickname] to give it a shot. Nicknames must be between 1 and 16 characters, and must partially match your real username. You can't use dark red, red, dark purple, or black, as these colors are reserved for the staff team. There are different limitations on color codes per rank:
While you can only have one nickname active at a time, you can store many more inside of your /nickname list.
When you see a nickname in your list that you want to use, use /nickname activate [ID] to set it as your current nickname. It will now display in chat on each realm. To see the approved nickname list of another player, use /nickname list [player]. If you see a message in chat and you're not sure who it's from, open up chat (press T) and hover over the nickname. The full username will be displayed. You can change your current nickname an infinite number of times, but you must wait a small amount of time between changes:
Keep in mind that if you are offline for 60 days, the server will automatically delete all of your warps, homes, nicknames, friends, blocks, regions, settings, balance, and ranks. Be sure to log in at least once every 59 days to avoid this.
